What do you do with the supplies you buy?

Is it a scam?
No, it is not a scam and this is real. Our company is built on buying your unused diabetic supplies and reselling them to our partners at below-retail prices. We understand that the customer experience is everything, so we are transparent and quick with transactions. We also understand we wouldn’t be able to generate repeat business if we scammed people, so we are honest and add in good old fashioned “Good Business” to every order.
Do you buy damaged or opened supplies?
Diabetic supplies are considered damaged when they have been scratched, opened, crushed, faded, soiled, or anything else which could make it less than perfect. We DO NOT purchase damaged supplies. If you send in supplies you are unsure of and they do not meet our standards, per our terms and conditions, the supplies will be donated or discarded. We may offer partial prices for items with minor damages that can still be resold. Please refer to the Product Requirements within our Terms and Conditions for details.
Should I remove my pharmacy labels?
No. Please do not attempt to remove your labels. In removing your labels you risk damaging the box and we do not purchase damaged boxes. We will remove the labels and shred all personal information.
What if I already removed the pharmacy labels?
If you already removed the label, the item will be assessed based on the extent of the damage. The Diabetics USA may offer half the normal rate for such items.
Are your price quotes guaranteed?
Yes. Provided the items you send are on our price list, expire within our required time frames, have no damage, and are factory sealed. Every item is inspected thoroughly to ensure that it meets our criteria. We reserve the right to deny payment if any of the requirements are not met.
Do you sell diabetic supplies?
No, we do not sell supplies. Our focus is on partnering with programs nationwide to place these resources in the hands of those who need them most and can not afford them.
How do I ship my supplies to you?
The Diabetics USA will send you a prepaid shipping label or shipping kit. Once you receive the one you chose, place your diabetic supplies safely in your own box or the one we provided. Do your best to ensure that they will not be damaged while they are being shipped to us as we do not purchase damaged supplies. Then, drop them off at your nearest USPS office.
Do you accept Medicare and Medicaid supplies?
Due to FDA regulations, we cannot accept test strips boxes supplied by Medicare or Medicaid. Some CGM supplies (e.g. Dexcom) marked “DME Beneficiaries” or “Government Payee” may be accepted. Refer to our product page under the link ‘Sell’ for more details..
Do you buy opened boxes?
No, although you may have not used the test strips, lancets, or CGM products within the boxes or damaged them, we can not verify that they haven’t been tampered with, therefore we cannot accept them.
Do you accept international products?
Due to FDA regulations, we cannot accept international products.
What do you do with opened or expired supplies?
Supplies will be destroyed or donated unless otherwise noted.
Do you pay in advance?
We do not pay in advance. We process and pay one day after the order has arrived.
Can I use my own shipping label?
No, we will provide you with a shipping label via email or through USPS. This ensures that your order is tracked and processed correctly.

Why do prices change or go down sometimes?
There are many reasons the prices can fluctuate, diabetic test strips, lancets, and CGM prices are based on supply and demand. Sometimes a manufacturer will flood the market with their brand of products, causing an oversupply in the market which results in a price drop. On the other hand, when a certain product is in short supply, the product price will increase.
What if I only have one box, will you accept it?
That will depend on what the item is, along with the expiration date, and condition of the box. The minimum amount to complete an order with The Diabetics USA is $50.00.
